Greene County Commissioner Rick Perales fills all of those criteria. Rick has been innovative and successful at both the City and County level of government. He has a tremendous track record in the military – a 2010 Ohio Veteran Hall of Fame Inductee, and has led the University of Dayton through tremendous physical expansion and growth. We need Rick’s vision, experience and collaborative nature in Ohio to move this state forward!

Seven years ago Rick showed up at Dayton Children's Hospital because he heard our daughter, who was eleven at the time, had been diagnosed with Juvenile Diabetes and had just come out of the ICU. I have known Rick Perales for over 15 years and he has demonstrated the leadership skills we need in Columbus. As a commander at WPAFB, he earned the respect of those who served in his unit at the same time he met the challenges of dealing with the infrastructure of one of the nation's most complex military installations.
