Please join me at this fantastic event...

I would like to invite you to the 4th Annual SMGA Wounded Warrior Golf Outing hosted in Dayton, Ohio. This is a great opportunity to support a worthwhile cause for the men and woman that have served our country with 100% loyalty and dedication.

The Salute Military Golf Association (SMGA)'s mission is to provide rehabilitative golf experiences for combat-wounded veterans in an effort to improve the quality of life for these American heroes. The SMGA believes that the rehabilitative benefits of golf can improve the mental and physical condition of each and every soldier returning from combat.

What the SMGA has accomplished so far:
  • Equipped more than 660 soldiers with properly fitted golf clubs since 2004
  • Offered free lessons to nearly 1700 combat-wounded soldiers.
  • Nine Chapters and growing - five more close to standup.
  • Enabled the rehabilitative benefits of golf to improve the mental and physical condition of soldiers who have participated in the program.
  • Provided injured soldiers with individualized player development programs-offering golf clinics, personal lessons, and specialized equipment.
  • Approximately 100 wounded warriors in the Dayton area
  • We plan to have approximately 18 Wounded Warriors playing at this event
