Early Review
My first two months as the State Representative have been eventful, spending significant energy and time getting acclimated with Columbus, my peers and the processes at the State House. Even still, there isn't much time to ease in as the Governor's budget was submitted to the House a couple of weeks ago. We'll have about six weeks to review, edit and pass on to the Senate. With complex issues such as the tax structure, education and Medicaid expansion, we have our hands full. I'll also be focusing on my committee assignments - Veterans and Military, Policy and Oversight, and Transportation. Please don't hesitate to contact me with questions or concerns. Visit the official State website above to learn more about what's going on in your State government. Also, I'd enjoy receiving your e-mails and calls, or even visit my office when you're in Columbus. Again, I'm excited about representing you in Columbus; thank you for this opportunity.
Respectfully,
Rick
